The Emory University baseball team ran its winning streak to four games on Tuesday, defeating Rose-Hulman, 7-2, in a midweek matchup at Chappell Park in Atlanta.

Senior Ellis Schwartz continued his hot hitting, going 3-for-4 with two runs scored while junior Tyler McLoughlin went 2-for-4 with another mammoth home run.

On the mound, senior Aaron Mishoulam was outstanding with seven shutout frames to earn his first win of the season. He struck out eight while walking one and allowing three hits, all singles.

The Eagles scored early and often, manufacturing five runs across the first four innings to lead 5-0. Emory later tacked on another run to its lead in the seventh before Rose-Hulman ended the shutout bid in the eighth. McLoughlin would round out the Eagles scoring with his second home run of the year, launching a no-doubter over the left center fence in the home half of the inning.

The Eagles look to continue its streak on Friday as the team is slated to host Covenant College in the first of three this weekend.
