Ashton Pennamon, a former Newton High School standout and now a junior guard for the Lincoln Memorial Railsplitters, is set to play in the Division II NCAA Basketball Tournament.
The Railsplitters are seeded No. 7 and will face the second-seeded Lander Bearcats in their tournament opener.
The opening round takes place on Saturday, March 14 at 2:30 p.m. in Finis Horne Arena.
