Nadea Smith, a former standout at Union Grove High School and now playing for the Columbus State Cougars, is set to take part in the NCAA Division II Basketball Tournament.
The Cougars, seeded fourth, are slated to play the fifth-seeded Carson-Newman Eagles in their first game.
Tipoff for the initial matchup is scheduled for Friday, March 13 at 7:30 p.m. at B. Frank Tex Turner Arena.
