Rep. Mike Collins, a U.S. Congressman representing Georgia’s 10th district since 2023, posted a series of statements on his social media account on March 20, 2026, addressing topics including voting regulations, the passing of Chuck Norris, and language accessibility in commercial driving courses.
In a post from the early afternoon, Collins wrote: “Democrats don’t care. They’re doing this to protect illegal aliens at voting locations.” (March 20, 2026).
Later that day, he commented on the death of actor Chuck Norris: “Death didn’t come for Chuck Norris. He simply agreed to a meeting. Rest in Peace, sir. A patriot, icon, and the living embodiment of the grit and toughness of America.” (March 20, 2026).
In another post from that evening, Collins raised concerns about language options in Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) courses: “There are CDL courses in Arabic and Russian. I haven’t seen any U.S. traffic signs in Russian. Have you? Pass Dalilah’s Law.” (March 20, 2026).
Collins has been active in Congress since replacing Jody Hice in January 2023 after winning election victories over Tabitha Johnson-Green in 2022 and Lexy Doherty in 2024 with over sixty percent of the vote each time. Born in Jackson, Georgia in 1967 and a graduate of Georgia State University with a BA earned in 1990, Collins continues to reside in Jackson while serving his district.
