Rep. Mike Collins, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Georgia’s 10th district, has shared a series of tweets on various topics ranging from historical events to cultural observations.

On June 11, 2025, Rep. Collins posted about typical occurrences in cities during peaceful times. He stated: “Things that happen in normal cities during peaceful times.”

Later that day, he commemorated a significant historical event by tweeting: “On this day in history in 323 BC, Alexander the Great, a Macedonian king known for his brilliant military strategy and undefeated record in battle, died. Trained by Aristotle and his father, he expanded his rule from Greece to Egypt, Persia, Central Asia, and northern India,” highlighting the achievements of the ancient ruler.

In another tweet on the same day, Rep. Collins made a remark regarding language and cultural history: “Can’t wait till the libs find out why Mexicans speak Spanish.”

Born in Jackson, Georgia in 1967 and an alumnus of Georgia State University with a BA obtained in 1990, Mike Collins succeeded Jody Hice as representative of Georgia’s 10th District in 2023.
