Rep. Mike Collins, who has represented Georgia’s 10th District in the U.S. Congress since 2023, shared several updates on his social media account on July 15, 2025. Collins, a Jackson, Georgia native and graduate of Georgia State University, posted about political support, commemorated an act of heroism, and commented on recent economic developments.

On July 15, 2025 at 03:35 UTC, Rep. Collins wrote: “This is a @virginiafoxx stan account.”

Later that day at 11:14 UTC, he reflected on an incident from six years prior: “On this day in history in 2019, hero Fred Pepperman drowned after saving three of his daughters caught in a riptide. The Pepperman family was vacationing in Seacrest, Florida, when one of their daughters became caught in a riptide. Two of their older daughters swam out to help”.

At 13:20 UTC on the same day, Rep. Collins addressed economic news by stating: “I don’t know how many times I can keep saying this, but core inflation beat expert predictions once again. The economy is rolling and the Golden Age is here.”

Mike Collins succeeded Jody Hice as representative for Georgia’s 10th District and has served since 2023. Born in Jackson in 1967 and residing there today at age 55, Collins earned his BA from Georgia State University in 1990.
