Rep. Mike Collins, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Georgia’s 10th district, posted several tweets on July 15 and 16, 2025, highlighting topics related to government spending and management of taxpayer dollars.

The following day, on July 16 at 01:21 UTC, Collins tweeted about fiscal responsibility in government agencies by stating: “I ran USAID. Here’s how to manage taxpayer dollars. https://t.co/9x9NZf0V4O”.

Collins has served as the representative for Georgia’s 10th District since replacing Jody Hice in 2023. He was born in Jackson, Georgia in 1967 and continues to reside there. Collins graduated from Georgia State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1990.
