U.S. Representative Mike Collins, who serves Georgia’s 10th district in Congress, posted a series of tweets on September 5, 2025, addressing concerns about local employment and postal services.

In his first post at 15:01 UTC, Collins stated: “Big problem! https://t.co/OocEApp7mE”.

Later that day at 15:18 UTC, he added: “Round ’em up! Our tax dollars should not be used to steal jobs away from Georgia workers—once again, I stand with President Trump and his administration on this issue. https://t.co/5YbrMaaYTm”.

By the afternoon at 17:52 UTC, Collins addressed concerns regarding local postal services: “The ADD Drugstore Contract Postal Unit in Athens is a vital service for the surrounding neighborhoods who rely on it. My team and I are aware of @USPS’ termination of this longstanding contract and are working to get the agency to reconsider.”

Mike Collins began representing Georgia’s 10th congressional district in 2023 after succeeding Jody Hice. He has since won two general elections—defeating Tabitha Johnson-Green in 2022 with approximately 64.5% of the vote and Lexy Doherty in 2024 with around 63.1%.
