Rep. Mike Collins, who has been serving in the U.S. Congress representing Georgia’s 10th District since 2023, recently shared a series of tweets addressing various political matters and expressing his opinions on current events.

On June 18, 2025, Collins extended his congratulations to Senate Majority Leader Jason Anavitarte with a tweet stating “Congratulations to Senate Majority Leader @jasonanavitarte!”

In another tweet posted shortly after, Collins conveyed his feelings about the legislative process by posting “How it feels wanting to pass 12 appropriations bills.” The post suggests the challenges and complexities involved in passing multiple budgetary measures.

Later that day, Collins criticized the Democratic Party in a more pointed statement. He tweeted “The Democrat party has turned into a theater camp for lithium-deficient adults who would rather cosplay as history textbook still images than actually govern. These people are the opposition to the American Dream—deeply unserious, but dangerous to the foundation of our nation.” This remark reflects his perspective on what he perceives as inefficacies within the opposing political party.

Mike Collins was born in Jackson, Georgia in 1967 and is currently residing there at age 55. He completed his Bachelor of Arts degree from Georgia State University in 1990.
