Rep. Mike Collins, a U.S. Congressman representing Georgia’s 10th district, posted a series of tweets on March 22 and 23, 2026, addressing issues ranging from language requirements for truck drivers to historical commemorations and airport wait times.

On March 22, Collins advocated for legislation regarding truck drivers, stating: “Americans deserve to share our roads with truckers that share our language. Pass Dalilah’s Law.”

The following day, he referenced a significant moment in American history by quoting Patrick Henry: “On this day in history in 1775, Patrick Henry delivered his immortal words: ‘I know not what course others may take; but as for me, give me liberty or give me death!’ to the Second Virginia Convention at St. John’s Church. After the signing of the Declaration of Independence,”

Later on March 23, Collins commented on airport wait times in Atlanta (ATL), attributing delays to Democratic immigration policies: “Due to Democrats’ open-border demands, ATL is continuing to see longer than normal wait times. Travelers are encouraged to arrive at least four hours early so Democrats can allow criminal aliens into your neighborhoods. Democrats appreciate using you and airport partners’ pain”

Collins has represented Georgia’s 10th District since 2023 after succeeding Jody Hice. He was born in Jackson, Georgia in 1967 and continues to reside there. Collins graduated from Georgia State University in 1990 with a Bachelor of Arts degree. In recent elections, he defeated Lexy Doherty in the 2024 general election with over sixty percent of the vote and Tabitha Johnson-Green in the 2022 general election by a similar margin.
