Rep. Mike Collins, a U.S. Congressman representing Georgia’s 10th district since 2023, shared several posts on his social media account addressing topics ranging from well wishes for a political figure to historical commentary and criticism of current government policies.
On March 16, 2026, Collins posted a message offering support to Susie Wiles: “Please join us in praying for Susie Wiles. She’s a fighter and a tremendous leader. We’re wishing her strength and a speedy recovery.”
The following day, March 17, he commemorated Saint Patrick’s Day with a brief historical note: “On this day in history in 461, Saint Patrick, the patron saint of Ireland, died in Saul, where he had built his first church.
Born in Roman Britain—likely in what is now Wales, western England, or southern Scotland—he was kidnapped at 16 by Irish raiders and spent six years in”
Later that same day, Collins addressed the issue of unpaid Transportation Security Administration (TSA) employees: “TSA families have not been paid for nearly 43% of the 2026 FY. They’re living off of food drives and gift cards.
Democrats aren’t the party of the working man, they’re the party of the illegal aliens.”
Collins has represented Georgia’s 10th district since succeeding Jody Hice in Congress beginning in 2023. He was born in Jackson, Georgia in 1967 and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Georgia State University (1990). In previous elections, Collins defeated Tabitha Johnson-Green in 2022 and Lexy Doherty in 2024 with over sixty percent of the vote each time.
