Rep. Mike Collins, who represents Georgia’s 10th district in the U.S. Congress, posted a series of tweets on March 19, 2026, criticizing Democratic immigration policies and advocating for stricter measures.
In his first post at 14:42 UTC, Collins stated, “A 63-year-old Georgia father of five and grandfather of ten was killed by a criminal illegal alien because of Democrat open-border policies. Democrats’ so-called empathy ends at the American border and at American citizens.”
Later that day at 16:04 UTC, he wrote, “Illegal immigrants are not entitled to our jobs. American families deserve to share the roads with professional truckers who can read and speak English. Pass Dalilah’s Law.”
At 18:38 UTC on the same day, Collins continued his criticism by saying, “Georgians deserve better. Senators Ossoff and Warnock continue to choose illegal aliens over Americans. Fund TSA now.”
Mike Collins has served as the representative for Georgia’s 10th District since replacing Jody Hice in 2023. He was born in Jackson, Georgia in 1967 and continues to reside there after graduating from Georgia State University in 1990 with a Bachelor of Arts degree. In recent elections, Collins won re-election against Lexy Doherty in 2024 with over sixty percent of the vote and previously defeated Tabitha Johnson-Green in 2022 by a similar margin.
