Rep. Mike Collins, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Georgia’s 10th district, has been active on social media sharing his perspectives on historical and contemporary issues. Born in Jackson, Georgia, Collins replaced Jody Hice in 2023 and holds a BA from Georgia State University.

On May 12, 2025, Rep. Collins addressed the plight of Afrikaners who have faced severe challenges in their homeland. He stated: “Afrikaners have had their land taken, political leaders chant for their death, and are subject to murder for the color of their skin. They’re now waiving American flags in safety with their families.” He emphasized that “Old Glory remains the symbol for freedom and prosperity across the world.”

The following day, on May 13, 2025, he reflected on a significant event in American history: “On this day in history in 1846, Congress declared war on Mexico.” Collins recounted the disagreement over Texas’s southern border and how failed negotiations led to a two-year conflict resulting in territorial gains for the United States.

Later that same day, Collins expressed his views regarding statements from the Biden Administration: “Wild how the first true statements from the Biden Administration are about how they lied to the American people.” He criticized those involved as continuing to hold power and being “an enemy of truth.”
