Rep. Mike Collins, who has been serving in the U.S. Congress representing Georgia’s 10th district since 2023, recently shared his thoughts on various national issues through a series of tweets. Collins, born in Jackson, Georgia in 1967 and a graduate of Georgia State University, often uses social media to communicate with his constituents.

On July 6, 2025, Rep. Mike Collins expressed his support for recent legislative efforts by stating that “Our nation is stronger, more secure, and safer with the Big, Beautiful Bill.” He emphasized that current investments will ensure protection for America over future generations.

The following day, July 7, 2025, Collins commemorated a historical event by recalling that “On this day in history in 1908”, the United States Navy’s Great White Fleet began its journey around the world under Rear Admiral Robley D. Evans’ leadership.

Later on July 7th, he commented on political strategies by saying “Yep. It’s all theatrics.” He accused Democrats of planning to break the law as a demonstration against former President Trump’s enforcement policies.

Additional context reveals that Mike Collins replaced Jody Hice in Congress and continues to reside in Jackson at age 55.
