Rep. Mike Collins, who has represented Georgia’s 10th district in the U.S. Congress since 2023, recently shared a series of posts on social media expressing his views on American politics and the country’s future. Collins, 55, was born in Jackson, Georgia, and holds a BA from Georgia State University.

On July 11, 2025, Collins commented on the Democratic Party with a post stating: “The ghost of Mao Zedong could run as a Democrat and they’d still embrace him under the “big tent.””

Later that day, at 17:02 UTC, he warned about potential changes to American society if certain actions are not taken. He wrote: “This is coming to America if we don’t stop it. This isn’t a hypothetical scenario. The America we know today will be unrecognizable if we do not protect it.”

At 18:57 UTC on the same day, Collins added another message urging confidence in ongoing efforts by stating: “Once again, trust the plan.”

Mike Collins succeeded Jody Hice in representing Georgia’s 10th District in Congress. He currently resides in Jackson, Georgia.
