Rep. Mike Collins, who represents Georgia’s 10th district in the U.S. Congress, posted a series of historical reflections and religious quotes on his social media accounts over the weekend.

In 1972, the Watergate Scandal became the most infamous political cover-up when the Democratic National Committee headquarters was robbed, and https://t.co/8ZnjbdzxdY”.

The following day, on August 10, Collins shared a biblical passage: “‘In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.’ — John 1:1”.

Collins has served as U.S. Representative since replacing Jody Hice in 2023. He secured re-election victories in both 2022 and 2024—defeating Tabitha Johnson-Green and Lexy Doherty respectively—with significant margins each time.
