Rep. Mike Collins, a U.S. Congressman representing Georgia’s 10th district since 2023, shared several updates and commentary on his Twitter account on July 23, 2025.
In a post from early in the day, Collins wrote: “Current view. Boss talking One Big Beautiful Bill. Promises made, promises kept.” (July 23, 2025). Later that morning, he marked a sports milestone by stating: “On this day in history in 2000, Tiger Woods made history by completing the career Grand Slam—winning all four major golf championships. At just 24 years old, he became the youngest golfer ever to achieve this feat, having already won the Masters, U.S. Open, British Open, and” (July 23, 2025).
In another tweet posted that afternoon regarding public safety statistics and policy decisions by Democrats in various states and cities, Collins stated: “Criminal migrant arrests are up:
Maryland: 290%
Michigan: 145%
Virginia: 770%
San Diego: 400%
Keeping criminals on the streets was a choice, and Democrats chose to make our cities less safe.” (July 23, 2025).
Collins has represented Georgia’s 10th District since replacing Jody Hice in Congress in 2023. Born in Jackson, Georgia in 1967 and currently residing there at age 55, Collins graduated from Georgia State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1990.
