Rep. Mike Collins, a U.S. Congressman representing Georgia’s 10th district, posted a series of tweets on August 23 and 24, 2025, expressing views on political opposition, sharing a biblical verse, and commenting on sports.

On August 23, Collins posted a message referencing his support for the University of Georgia football team: “Go Dawgs!!”

Later that day, he made a statement about political opponents and crime: “Liberals would rather be carjacked and beaten than see President Trump end crime. These are the people protesting in the streets.”

On August 24, Collins quoted scripture from Ephesians: “Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.” — Ephesians 4:32

Collins has served in Congress since replacing Jody Hice in 2023 and currently represents Georgia’s 10th district. He secured his seat by defeating Tabitha Johnson-Green in the 2022 general election with 64.5% of the vote and Lexy Doherty in the 2024 general election with 63.1% of the vote.
