Rep. Mike Collins, a U.S. Congressman representing Georgia’s 10th district since 2023, posted a series of tweets on July 22, 2025, addressing recent changes to Medicaid and the implications for various groups of Americans.

In his first post at 19:20 UTC, Collins stated: ” The most vulnerable Americans will lose all healthcare. Taxpayers will no longer foot the bill for millions of illegal immigrants and able-bodied adults who can work.”

Shortly after, at 19:20 UTC, he added: ” Trump is ‘betraying’ his blue-collar base with this bill. Medicaid will be more accessible to the people and families that actually need it.”

Later that evening at 21:27 UTC, Collins tweeted: “Wins keep rolling. https://t.co/yHwquLIcv5”

Mike Collins has represented Georgia’s 10th District in Congress since replacing Jody Hice in 2023. He was born in Jackson, Georgia in 1967 and continues to reside there. Collins earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Georgia State University in 1990.
