Cost of college was unchanged for all students at the Georgia Career Institute

Tuition and fees were unchanged for 2018-19 at the Georgia Career Institute, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Georgia students paid $19,700 to attend the private for-profit school in both the 2017-18 and 2018-19 academic years.

Data shows 70 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 114 students received grants or scholarships totaling $491,417 and 134 students took out student loans totaling more than $944,593.

Including all undergraduates (430), 412 students used grants or scholarships totaling $1.7 million, and 403 students took out $2.8 million in federal student loans.
