Just The Facts: Three New Schools

2

Alpharetta Elementary School recently issued the following announcement.

New Schools with "Bricks and Clicks"

The excitement of returning to face-to-face instruction will be amplified for many Fulton County Schools (FCS) students as they begin the new school year in a new building, too. Staff, families, and the community have been visiting the new facilities at the two new Magnet STEM schools, FCS' Innovation Academy in Alpharetta, the Global Impact Academy in Fairburn, as well as Crabapple Middle School in Roswell, with tours and back-to-school orientations for many weeks. Thanks to the generosity of Fulton County taxpayers, funding for these new school was provided by the ESPLOST as part of the Capital Plan 2022.

FCS also has a unique new first day as the district opens a new school “without walls.”  The 2021-22 school year will start online only for students at the Fulton Academy of Virtual Excellence (FAVE). This option for students who choose to learn through a virtual platform was inspired by the COVID-19 crisis, and there has been a fantastic response. At the time of writing, FAVE will open classes in grades 3-11 with over 1,000 students.
