Internal Audit has released a new report covering compliance with the City's renewable energy offset goal.
For calendar year 2021, Denton's renewable energy offset load by 101 percent. Annual renewable energy offset goal progress should still be regularly tracked and reported to provide assurance that this goal is met in the future and all renewable energy certificates owed to the City are received.
In addition, the Denton Renewable Resource Plan should be updated to reflect changing regulatory conditions and increasing customer load.
