Meet Camille Zats

10

She is a first year from Menlo Park, California, planning on majoring in BBA and minoring in QSS. By being an analyst for Everview, Camille is exploring her passion for business and helping others as an analyst for Everview, one of the consulting groups on campus.

Camille’s Jewish identity has always been a huge part of her life and she has continued to involve herself in the Jewish community at Oxford by being involved with JSU as an Engagement Chair.

You will likely see Camille running around in her SAA shirt and khakis a few times a week while giving tours to admitted students. “I absolutely love people’s reactions to seeing Oxford for the first time and getting a chance to share my student experience with them in hopes of helping them on their journey of choosing the right school for them.”

If you have noticed changes to the dining hall such as more chocolate chip cookies, edamame or feta in the salad bar, more vegan and vegetarian options, and many more, you have Camille to thank! She has been in communication with the dining hall, working with them to give suggestions and make changes to benefit the student dining experience. “The dining hall and I are on a first name basis, and we are texting buddies. They send me emojis and everything.”

As a final note, Camille would like to give a shout out to her sorority, Dphie (Delta Phi Epsilon), "filled with the most genuine, fun, and inclusive girls I have ever met," and Elizer 2nd (the only gender inclusive floor on campus)! This wonderful community is made up of the most amazing and incredible people that this would not be Oxford without, there's no one else I would rather stay up late hanging out with.
