WHAT: KDOW COVID-19 Vaccination (Pfizer and Moderna)
WHEN: Saturday, June 11, 2022, 9 a.m.-12 p.m.
WHERE: Edwards Middle School, 2633 Stanton Rd., Conyers, GA 30094.
WHO: RCPS students, families, staff, community and anyone age 5 and older.
PRE-REGISTRATION: CLICK HERE.
COST: Free vaccinations.
WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?: Participants are requested but not required to bring 1) a Driver's License or State ID, and 2) Insurance card or Social Security card. If you do not have documentation/are undocumented or do not have insurance, you can still receive services.
DO PARENTS NEED TO ACCOMPANY STUDENTS?: Parents need to accompany students age of 18 and under. A brief exam will be performed on students age 5-18 for temperature, heart, and lungs before giving the vaccination.
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE?: Parents should plan for the visit to take up to an hour or more; the visit includes a brief exam of student's temperature, heart, and lungs. Patients will be observed for 15 minutes after receiving their shot.
CAN I GET A VACCINATION SHOT IF I TESTED POSITIVE FOR COVID?: Please wait 4 weeks after a positive COVID-19 test before getting a vaccination shot (1st, 2nd or booster).
WHAT IF I WANT A J&J SHOT?: Adults seeking a Johnson & Johnson shot will need to visit a local pharmacy or doctor's office.
