Greetings Alcovy Tigers,
Congratulations to the Drama Team for winning the Region 3-AAAAAA Region Championship for the One Act Play Competition. The Drama Team will now compete on the state level on Saturday November 12 at Buford High School.
As a reminder, Tuesday November 8 is a teacher workday and students do not report to Alcovy.
Progress Reports will be released on Infinite Campus on Thursday November 17.
Friday November 18 is an early release day for students. Students will be released from school at 12:15 pm.
Jostens will be on back on campus on Wednesday November 16 for Senior students to order their graduation packages.
Advanced Placement students, please see Ms. Lambert to register and pay for Advanced Placement tests. Alcovy would like for all Advanced Placement students to take the Advanced Placement tests. If any student needs assistance in paying for the tests please see Ms. Lambert or Dr. Williams.
Students that need to make up any missing assignments including tests, please make sure that you meet with your teacher and get the assignments submitted. While the teachers are providing opportunities to makeup missing assignments it is the responsibility of the student to get the assignments completed.
The varsity girls and boys basketball teams will start the 22-23 season on Wednesday November 9 at Lithonia High School with the girls playing at 5:30 pm and the boys playing at 7:00 pm.
Auditions for the Alcovy Talent Show will be Wednesday November 9 and Thursday November 10 from 3:30 pm until 5:30 pm. Signs up for auditions will take place during lunch on Monday November 7 and Wednesday November 9.
The Alcovy swim team will compete in their first meet of the 22-23 season on Saturday November 12 at Johnson Park.
