Newton County is mourning the passing of Emergency Management Agency Director Jody Nolan.
Jody, who passed away Monday, March 27, was a well loved and much respected member of our community and our staff at Newton County.
Jody worked for Newton County in various roles, most recently as EMA Director. Prior to leading the emergency efforts he was the County’s Risk Management Coordinator. He started his career with the County as a firefighter in 2000.
Jody will be missed but his impact on Newton County will not be forgotten.
His loss will leave a void in our OneNewton family.
