On February 19, 2025, Rep. Mike Collins accused Stacey Abrams of attempting to misappropriate taxpayer funds. He stated: "Stacey Abrams tried to steal $2B of our taxpayer dollars. This isn’t mismanagement—it’s fraud, and everyone involved should be put in prison."
The following day, February 20, 2025, he commemorated a historical event from World War II. In his tweet he noted: "On #ThisDayInHistory in 1942, Lt. Edward O'Hare...became America’s first WWII flying ace." He highlighted the strategic importance of Rabaul during the war.
Later that same day, Collins praised former President Trump for his achievements within a month of taking office again. He asserted: "In just one month, President Trump has: Secured our southern border Dismantled the NGO Industrial Complex Saved women's sports...and so much more." Collins described this period as potentially the most productive presidency in history.
