Rep. Mike Collins, who represents Georgia’s 10th district in the U.S. Congress since replacing Jody Hice in 2023, recently shared a series of statements on his social media platform. Collins, who was born in Jackson, Georgia, in 1967 and graduated from Georgia State University in 1990, has been vocal in his stance on education and funding issues.

On March 30, 2025, Collins posted a thought-provoking quote from Proverbs 27:17 on his social media: “As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.”

Later the same day, Collins shared a cryptic inquiry about funding with his followers, asking, "Who is funding them?”

In a further comment on March 30, 2025, Collins expressed criticism of the Department of Education, stating, “The Department of Education was a failure. Washington, D.C. bureaucrats sacrificed our children's education to force-feed them woke ideology. That time is over.”
