Congratulations to newly promoted Captain Leon Whitley. Captain Whitley has worked as a Patrol Officer, Criminal Investigator, Patrol Sergeant, Professional Standards and Training Sergeant, and Professional Standards and Certification Manager Lieutenant. Captain Whitley has served the Douglas GA Police Department since 1998.
Captain Whitley will serve as the Commander of the Investigative Operations Division, which consists of the Criminal Investigations Unit, the Crime Suppression Unit, and the Property & Evidence Unit. Thank you for your service and again, congratulations!
