U.S. Congressman Mike Collins, representing Georgia's 10th district since 2023, took to Twitter to express his views on energy policy and national economics on April 2, 2025. Collins' tweets reflect his skepticism about climate initiatives and enthusiasm for economic strategies aimed at national empowerment.

Appearing to question the efficacy of the Green New Deal energy sources, Collins remarked on his discussion with a climate expert. He stated on April 2, "I asked a climate radical 'expert' what the impact of moving to Green New Deal energy sources would have on global warming. She didn’t know. It’s a scam. ⁦@NatResources⁩"

In another tweet made later the same day, Collins highlighted a significant economic proclamation from the U.S. administration. He tweeted, "Liberation Day: 'It's our Declaration of Economic Independence. It's our turn to prosper.' @POTUS 'Trillions of dollars to reduce our taxes and pay down our national debt. More production at home will mean stronger competition and lower prices for consumers.' America is BACK."

Moreover, Collins shared his perspective on global relations, emphasizing the need for fairness in international dealings. On the evening of April 2, he tweeted, "This is fair. Whether it’s our military or economy, other countries have taken advantage of the U.S. for far too long. That time is over."
