Emory University Women's Tennis Interim Head Coach Bridget Disher welcomes incoming recruits Yanire Marte and Riyah Dugar who will join the team in the fall for the 2023-24 season.
Dugar, a Chennai, India native, joins the team after spending the last year training at the Piatti Tennis Center in Bordighera, Italy. She will join Ilayda Baykan, Alessia Martinez, and Ana Cristina Perez as international students on the roster. She currently holds a UTR of 8.34 on the 1-16 scale.
Marte, a four-star recruit hailing from Royal Palm Beach, Florida, is joining Dugar as the second recruit for the 2023-24 season. Marte boasts a UTR of 8.78 putting her just outside of the nation's Top 100 list.
The Eagles are set to return to the courts next month when the spring season gets underway.
