Rep. Mike Collins, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Georgia's 10th district since 2023, recently shared his perspectives on various national issues through a series of tweets. Collins succeeded Jody Hice and has been actively voicing his opinions on matters concerning national security, border control, and technological policies.

On January 30, 2025, Collins expressed support for Tulsi Gabbard as the next Director of National Intelligence. He emphasized her qualifications and noted her experience with political weaponization as reasons she is "the right choice to restore integrity to our intel community." "Tulsi Gabbard's experience more than qualifies her to be our next Director of National Intelligence."

Later that day, Collins addressed border security issues in another tweet. He referenced Border Czar Tom Homan's comments about illegal migrants being deported and criticized those expressing sympathy towards them. Instead, he urged empathy for families affected by crimes associated with the border crisis, including drug-related fatalities. "Border Czar @RealTomHoman is correct: Dems crying over illegal migrants being deported should instead be crying for the victims affected by the border crisis."

In an additional post on January 30, 2025, Collins simply stated: "Kill the kill switches," without further elaboration in the tweet itself. The brevity suggests opposition to certain technological regulations or policies related to kill switches. "Kill the kill switches."
