Rep. Mike Collins, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Georgia's 10th district since 2023, recently shared his views on immigration policy and public safety through a series of tweets. Born in Jackson, Georgia, in 1967, Collins has been vocal about his legislative priorities and personal beliefs.
On March 15, 2025, Rep. Collins expressed his stance against the Diversity Visa Lottery program by stating: "There is zero reason why the U.S. should throw a dart at the globe and import 55,000 people. I’m proud to have introduced the SAFE Act to help end the Diversity Visa Lottery and stop the endless cycle of chain migration."
Later that day, he commended efforts by former President Trump and Secretary Noem in addressing illegal immigration: "In just one month, President Trump and @Sec_Noem have deported almost 700 gang members who have entered our country illegally. Criminals are on notice—law and order is back."
On March 16, 2025, Collins shared a religious message from Psalm 91:1-2: “Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, ‘He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.’”
