Mike Collins, serving the U.S. Congress representing Georgia’s 10th district since 2023, used Twitter to share recent events. Collins, who succeeded Jody Hice, shared his involvement with the White House and historical reflections in several tweets.

On April 8, 2025, Collins stated, "Proud to be here at the White House to support some of the finest American workers and President Trump leading us into the Golden Age of energy dominance."

On the same day, he posted about an event at the White House, saying, "Just wrapped an executive order event at the White House. We are well on our way to making America great again."

The following day, on April 9, 2025, Collins tweeted about a historical milestone, "On #ThisDayInHistory in 1866, the American Civil War came to an end when Confederate General Robert E. Lee surrendered to Union General Ulysses S. Grant at Appomattox Court House in Virginia. This day is remembered as a turning point in American history."
