On April 12, 2025, Collins shared his opinion that "Joe Biden oversaw the largest human trafficking operation in modern history. Trump ended it in less than 3 months. We’re on the right side of history." This statement aligns with his frequent support for Trump's policies and leadership.
The next day, on April 13, 2025, Collins posted a biblical quotation on Twitter: "‘…No weapon forged against you will prevail, and you will refute every tongue that accuses you. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and this is their vindication from me,’ declares the LORD.” — Isaiah 54:17. This suggests a grounding in faith as he addresses his followers.
Later on the same day, he tweeted another comparison between Biden and Trump, emphasizing perceived differences in their presidentship. Mike Collins, who was born in Jackson, Georgia in 1967 and now resides there, was educated at Georgia State University, graduating in 1990. Having succeeded Jody Hice, he continues to represent Georgia's 10th District in Congress.
