Rep. Mike Collins, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Georgia’s 10th district, often shares his perspectives on military and political matters through social media. In a recent series of tweets, Collins touched on topics ranging from the number of high-ranking military officers to lighthearted remarks about the Masters golf tournament, and a pointed comment regarding U.S. border policy.

On April 11, 2025, Collins commented on the current number of four-star generals within the U.S. military, stating, "We won WW2 with seven 4-Star Generals. We have thirty-seven right now and I don’t think Germany is making a move on Poland anytime soon." This tweet highlights the representative's view on military leadership in today's geopolitical context.

Later that day, Collins posted a tweet with a more casual tone concerning the Masters golf tournament. He asked his followers, "Be honest, how many people are you hitting here? #themasters", suggesting a playful engagement with the sporting event’s audience.

In another post on the same day, Collins shared a tweet targeting President Biden’s policies toward Mexican cartels. He wrote, "Joe Biden waved this to Mexican cartels." Although the tweet includes an image, his words imply criticism of the administration's strategies regarding border security and international crime.

Mike Collins has been representing Georgia’s 10th district since succeeding Jody Hice in 2023. Born in 1967 in Jackson, Georgia, Collins holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Georgia State University, graduating in 1990. He still resides in his hometown of Jackson.
