Representative Mike Collins, serving Georgia's 10th district, recently shared a series of updates via social media. Elected to Congress in 2023, Collins replaced Jody Hice. He was born in Jackson, Georgia, in 1967 and holds a BA from Georgia State University.

On April 21, 2025, Collins expressed support for recent tort reform efforts in Georgia. He emphasized the role of Governor Kemp and the state legislature in these changes, which he framed as a significant advancement. Collins stated, "Georgia is showing how to lead on tort reform and reduce costs on hardworking Americans thanks to the initiative by @GovKemp and backed up by Republicans in the state legislature. Thank you Governor, for the most meaningful reform we've had in decades."

Later that day, Collins reminded constituents about an upcoming tele-townhall scheduled for 7 p.m. on April 21. Collins encouraged participation via phone, offering details on how to join. He reminded followers, "REMINDER: If you couldn’t make it to our last in-person townhall, call in instead of driving in! Join me TONIGHT at 7 p.m. for a Tele-Townhall WHEN: Monday, April 21st, 7:00 PM DIAL IN: (833) 946-1530 Bring your questions! Talk soon "

Additionally, Collins announced the appointment of Brinkley Williams from Athens Academy to the United States Naval Academy for the Class of 2029. He commented on the achievement on April 21, remarking, "It is my honor to announce that Brinkley Williams of Athens Academy has been appointed to the United States Naval Academy for the Class of 2029. Your hard work paid off, and I thank you for your commitment to our nation's military." Collins highlighted this as a reflection of Williams' dedication and service to the military.

Mike Collins continues to remain active in his role as a representative, engaging with his community through legislative reform and direct communication about local and national opportunities.
