City of Stockbridge issued the following announcement on Sept. 25.
Award-winning musical legends Patti LaBelle and Gladys Knight headline the Stockbridge Amphitheater's Grand Opening on this Saturday, September 25, 2021 at 8 pm. Doors open at 5 pm. The 3,200-seat amphitheater is currently sold out for this weekend's show. The Stockbridge Mayor and Council host an official ribbon cutting for the Stockbridge Amphitheater on Saturday at 6:45 pm on the Main Stage. The new City of Stockbridge venue is the first amphitheater in Henry County, Georgia.
The inaugural concert for the Stockbridge Amphitheater required COVID-19 precautions. All attendees must wear masks. Attendees must be prepared to show proof of full COVID-19 vaccination at the entry gate or present proof of a negative COVID-19 test within 48 hours of Saturday's concert. Free rapid COVID-19 testing be available onsite for ticket holders, while supplies last. Only confirmed ticket holders been allowed entry into the Stockbridge Amphitheater. The venue is located at 4650 North Henry Boulevard in Stockbridge, Georgia.
The City of Stockbridge offered free parking for concertgoers, while space is available. In addition to the free parking, attendees are encouraged to safely utilize ride share options for Saturday's event. All seating be provided for this concert so no outside chairs are allowed in the venue for Saturday. Firearms are disallowed. Full rules and guidelines are attached to this correspondence.
