Women's Soccer Drops Game to Oglethorpe

Earlier this evening, the Emory Oxford women's soccer team traveled across town to play the Stormy Petrels of Oglethorpe University. The Eagles were shutout for the first time this season, losing 2-0. 

The Stormy Petrels scored a goal in each half, both coming from corner kicks. The first came in the 10th minute as Taylor Whiteside sent one past behind Emory Oxford's defense. The second goal occurred in the 62nd minute when Kirsten Brown netted one past the Eagles. 

Emory Oxford will return to action at home on Thursday, September 15th. They will host Spartanburg Methodist College at 6:45 PM.
