On April 16, 2025, Representative Mike Collins expressed his admiration for a fellow political figure, stating, "I'm a fan of Stephen Miller's work."

Later the same day, Collins expressed his support for the Education Choice for Children's Act, highlighting the unique opportunity it presents to reform the educational sector. He tweeted, "I am proud to support the Education Choice for Children's Act. We have a once in a lifetime opportunity to bring competition, merit, and innovation back to the education industry. Further in the day, Collins voiced a stern stance on immigration issues. He stated, "If you’re going to advocate harder for illegal gang members than you do American citizens, don’t come back."
