The Atlanta Falcons are exploring options to bolster their defensive line as the 2025 offseason progresses. Although they currently have veterans Grady Jarrett and David Onyemata, along with rookies Ruke Orhorhoro and Brandon Dorlus, additional depth is always beneficial. The team may look to free agency, which begins on March 12, for potential additions.

Financial constraints could pose a challenge for the Falcons. Their cap space is over $5 million in the red, according to Over the Cap. However, with strategic financial adjustments, they might improve their standing.

Several defensive tackles are under consideration by the Falcons:

Javon Kinlaw from the New York Jets has completed his first full starting season in 2024 with notable performance improvements. "Perhaps the two could build on that relationship in Atlanta," referring to his previous work with Atlanta's new defensive coordinator Jeff Ulbrich.

B.J. Hill of the Cincinnati Bengals has shown versatility throughout his career and remains a reliable option despite age considerations.

Bobby Brown III from the Los Angeles Rams presents a young option coming off his rookie contract. His experience aligns him well with other developing players on the team.

Jarran Reed of the Seattle Seahawks brings experience but may be financially out of reach due to budget constraints.

Internally, Eddie Goldman is an option for retention after demonstrating capability in 2024 following a return from retirement.

These players offer varying levels of experience and potential impact as Atlanta evaluates its roster needs ahead of free agency.
